Anchanto was officially launched in Singapore with a vision to simplify backend e-commerce operations for businesses.
The first version of the Anchanto E-Warehouse Management System was launched and our first warehouse in Singapore was established. This made Anchanto a unique logistics company that runs on its own technology.
We introduced a cross-border platform and the Anchanto platform recorded over 1 million processed orders that month for the first time.
We successfully completed Series-B funding and created an alliance with TSE listed transcosmos inc. Japan, becoming one of the largest e-commerce logistics businesses in the APAC region.
Anchanto was transformed into a global B2B SaaS product company, and we closed the first part of our Series-C round with MDI Ventures, the Venture Capital arm of Telkom Indonesia. We also set up offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Over 1.5 million orders were processed on the 9.9 days sales via the Anchanto platform. Happy with the company’s exceptional growth, Telkom Indonesia doubled its investment in Anchanto.
Our customers proved once more their faith in Anchanto as Asendia invested $16.6 million as part of our Series-C funding round. 90% of our funding originated from our customers, this confidence inspired us to expand to Vietnam and Thailand with a local presence in these countries.
We rebranded Anchanto and launched 4 new products, namely Digital Shelf, Parcel Tracking, Control Tower, and Operations Experience. We also launched Anchanto solutions in South Korea, France, the UK, and the Middle East.
My journey at Anchanto has been truly dynamic. The best part about my role is that I get to create an ecosystem for the customer. At Anchanto, I get to explore the real dynamics of the business and see how we can totally transform the customer's business by meeting them face-to-face, and interacting with them personally.
